The International All Star Federation (IASF) based in the USA being the Worldwide Governing Authority for Cheer & Dance in partnership with Cheer Coach & Advisor magazine has recognized Australia's Rosemary Sims of Cheerleading Victoria as "someone that works tirelessly to promote the sport of cheerleading and a person that other Australian coaches admire and that young people look up to as a mentor and role model" by awarding her with the 2008 World’s Top International Cheer Coach Award. Rosemary is the first person to win this award outside of the USA. ....

 

On the back of the phenomenal successes acheived by Cheerleading Victoria with success at the Worlds in 2007 and various other competitions, we are on the lookout to recruit new members into the "Outlaw" All-Star competiton squads for 2008....

Our wonderful Outlaws have just returned from competing in the USASF New Zealand All Star Internationals held 29th October 06 in Auckland.

With 70+ All Star cheerleaders comprising of 4 teams, Cheerleading Victoria's "Outlaws" (members of the Australian All Star Cheerleading Federation (AASCF) competed against over 500 of the best All Star cheerleaders New Zealand has to offer...

All-Star, competitive Cheerleading is what most people recognize as "Bring it On /ESPN cheerleading".  It is a fast paced, dynamic sport that encompasses stunt, tumbling, tosses and dance & requires dedication and a strong work ethic from the male and female athletes that participate. It is as physically demanding as any other mainstream sport and is one of the fastest growing team based athletic sports in the USA.
